I personally swear by pet sitters. With a total of five pets in our household I would hate to think what our annual boarding kennel bill would be. But price isn’t the most important factor. All our five pets are rescue animals, adopted from various shelters. We took one with us once when we visited a kennel and she was traumatized beyond belief. Clearly she thought she was being taken back to the shelter. There is absolutely no way we could subject any of our pets to that sort of stress. It would be unforgivable!
