Veterinarians play an important role in the lives of our pets, and the North American Pet Health Insurance Association would like to celebrate veterinarians and veterinary practitioners during National Pet Health Insurance Month. NAPHIA invites pet owners to nominate their favorite veterinarian by telling, in their own words, why their vet deserves this honor. NAPHIA board members will review the submissions and choose one winner, whose veterinary practice will receive an educational grant and a plaque of excellence.

* Provide the name, address, city and state of the veterinarian that you are nominating.
* Tell us in your own words why your vet deserves this honor.
* All submissions must be received by September 30, 2009 at 11:59 PM EST.
* All submissions must be sent via email to lhickton@naphia.org.
* Winning submitter and veterinarian will be notified by October 14, 2009.
* The decision of the judges is final.
The winning veterinarian will receive an educational grant and an award of excellence plaque.
